cPanel Webmail Interfaces
What is a webmail? Webmail is an online based mail where you can easily check your email online as long as you have an internet connection. But if you are one of those people who prefers to download their mails through their computer, it might be worth trying the webmail of your cPanel. It is quick, and less hassle compared to downloaded mail in your computer.
The webmail is only available for hosting customers who have registered an email account under their hosting account and their cPanel. If you ever had any problems with loading your emails from your computer, Webmail is the quick solution as you can access your latest and old emails anytime.
Cpanel has currently three different types of webmail interfaces. This includes Horde, SquirrelMail and Roundcube. You can choose whichever interface you like the most. You can easily access the above webmail interface by accessing your cPanel first and following the login procedure below.
Logging into cPanel is also very quick and easy. Just type your domain name following with /webmail. For example domain.com/webmail (The domain.com is where you type your domain name). After that, you will be directed to a login form where you need to fill out your login details for cPanel. Once you’re logged in, you will have the option to choose from the three webmail interfaces that I’ve mentioned before. From here, you can choose whichever webmail you prefer.
With the three different webmail interfaces, hosting customers tends to get confused as to why there are three different interfaces. Each webmail interfaces are no different to each other. They all works the same and no matter which interface you choose, all your email will still load the same. The only difference is that each interface allow you to view and use your account in different ways.
